Melusi Dlamini is currently a PhD candidate at the bck体育app_bck体育官网下载-二维码平台 of KwaZulu-Natal. His doctoral work on masculinities, explores the ways that love, gender and sexuality shape the lives of young men in the townships of Durban, KZN. Contextually, his broader research interests essentially centres on the intersecting lived experiences of young people as they navigate gender inequality, poverty and violence. Prior to joining Rhodes bck体育app_bck体育官网下载-二维码平台, his work focused on HIV/AIDS, human rights and sexual and reproductive health for marginalised populations in Eastern and Southern Africa. This background also frames his continued interests intransformative pedagogies and decolonial epistemologies within Higher Education. |
