Professor Irwin is a PhD graduate of the Department of Computer Science at Rhodes bck体育app_bck体育官网下载-二维码平台. He spent sixteen years at Rhodes bck体育app_bck体育官网下载-二维码平台. He has spent several years engaging in the network and cyber security field, particularly within the telecommunications and financial services sectors. He is currently the Head of the Cybersecurity Program at Noroff bck体育app_bck体育官网下载-二维码平台 College, Norway, where he specializes in the domains of Cyberwarfare and Active Network Defense.
Research interests
Network security, cyber threat intelligence and indicators of compromise, data visualisation, malware and information warfare.
