The purpose of this booklet is to provide valuable information that will assist you in settling into the life of Hobson Hall and to set out the rules applicable to the Residences and Rhodes bck体育app_bck体育官网下载-二维码平台. Please ensure that you read it thoroughly as students are expected to conform to the rules of Hobson Hall and Rhodes bck体育app_bck体育官网下载-二维码平台.
These Hall Rules are supplementary to the Rules for Students published in the bck体育app_bck体育官网下载-二维码平台 Calendar in the section titled “Student Disciplinary Code” and other bck体育app_bck体育官网下载-二维码平台 Rules notified to students by the Registrar. There are rules in addition to those set out in the Student Disciplinary Code. A breach of any of these rules will be regarded as a disciplinary offence which may result in a disciplinary penalty being imposed. These rules are applicable to all Residences in the Hall.
Any breach of these Hall Rules, the Rules for Students, or any other bck体育app_bck体育官网下载-二维码平台 Rules constitutes an offence and is punishable in terms of the Student Disciplinary Code.
IGNORANCE OF THE RULES IS NOT AN ACCEPTABLE EXCUSE.
Drunkenness is an aggravating factor, not a mitigating one.
